The DS471LT4 is a 47 inch ultra high brightness professional LCD with IPS technology. With a brightness rating of 3,000 cd/m² the DS471LT4 has received a 20% increase in brightness from its predecessor, delivering greater visibility in high ambient light environments.

Measuring 3.5 inches in depth, the DS471LT4 is nearly 30% thinner than the first generation model, and a 9 pound weight reduction. The DS471LT4 features a 19.8 mm bezel-to-bezel width, perfect for video wall applications in brightly lit environments. Designed for use in direct sunlight, the display includes a high temperature LCD panel to prevent “blackening defect” caused by high temperatures.

Measuring 3.5 inches in depth, the DS551LT4 is nearly 30% thinner than the first generation model. The smaller footprint also has resulted in a weight reduction of over 33 pounds. The DS551LT4 features a 19.8 mm bezel-to-bezel width, perfect for video wall applications in brightly lit environments. Designed for use in direct sunlight, the specially designed LCD panel prevents “blackening defect” caused by high temperatures.

For greater convenience and accessibility, both new models now accept a variety of different video input resolutions, ranging from 640×480 (VGA) up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p). The new model also is HDCP compliant, allowing for native playback from HDCP encrypted devices such as DVD and Blu-ray players.

Both displays include built-in video daisy chaining. A single video source can be used for up to 36 displays without the need for any additional external video wall controller. The narrow bezel size also makes it easy to integrate the display in an external enclosure or kiosk while maintaining a small profile.

These new models are expected to start shipping in early August 2014. Please contact us for more details on price and availability.
