The Accusys B08S2-PS provides a compact storage solution that can be easily transported for field work, sit on the desktop without getting in the way, or even added to a SAN via a PCIe switch, but the B08S2-PS makes no compromises when it comes to performance. The B08S2-PS supports up to eight 2.5” SAS/SATA HDD or SSD drives with a total weight of no more than 5.5 kg including the drives.

Now with 6 SANit Licenses included, setting up a 6 client SAN environment has never been easier, with few simple configurations on each of the clients; you can complete the SAN in 3 easy steps.

The A08S-PS is an 8-bay RAID array that supports 3G SAS and SATA hard drives providing flexibilty in terms of capacity and performance. By using a direct PCIe connection between the host and the storage Accusys eliminate the protocol translation required by fibre or SCSI connections. The PCIe specification provides 250MB/sec bandwidth per channel. The A08S-PS has four data transmission channels giving it 10Gb/s bandwidth.
By utilising the high performance Accusys ExaSAN arrays combined with their unique PCIe switch technology you can build the infrastructure of your SAN quickly and easily. Then simply add the SANit file system and you have a shareable, cross platform storage allowing users to access the same storage pool, at extreme speeds and with high reliability and data security.
