BrightSign XD230 is an affordable solid-state digital sign player with PC-class performance. It offers state-of-the-art technology including an advanced video decoding engine with superior scaling technology that delivers pristine 1080p60 video and supports HTML5 and 3D content. The video engine is capable of decoding two 1080p60 videos simultaneously, while delivering accelerated JPEG decompression with instant image display. It also offers UDP network control for video wall synchronization, mobile device interactivity and messaging between BrightSign and third-party devices.

Please note this device really requires a ‘Class 10’ SDHC Flash card for playback speed. Use of slower SD cards will not guarantee HD playback. A 4GB card should provide roughly one hour of HD material at MPEG-2 quality – depending on the encoding.
