The Farm Group, award-winning London-based full-service post production facility, has significantly added to its colour grading and workflow resources through the purchase of a Mistika system at its Soho Headquarters. Following an extensive search for a future-proof solution that would move the facility beyond HD capability, the timing was ideal for The Farm to invest in Mistika.

Hong Kong’s Post Production Office Group invests in SGO’s Mistika

Leading Hong Kong facility Post Production Office Group (PO Group), founded in 2003 by famous Hong Kong entrepreneur and actor, Nicholas Tse, has invested in Mistika’s technology. The Company is the largest post production house in Hong Kong, which grosses over one billion Hong Kong dollars annually with branches in Shanghai, Hong Kong and now in Beijing. PO Group purchased from SGO, a 4K Stereo Mistika System, a Mistika Assist Station and an SGO SAN to support their Stereo 3D and high end Colour Grading services for film and commercials projects for its newly launched Beijing branch.

ONSIGHT invests in fourth SGO Mistika system

First stereo 3D programme ever to win a BAFTA award produced with Mistika

BSkyB increases their Mistika systems

London, UK, 4 March 2011 – In order to meet increasing stereoscopic 3D demand for content, global broadcasting giant, British Sky Broadcasting Corporation (BSkyB) expands its stereo 3D capacity with the purchase of two additional Mistika Post production systems working on a 64 TB SGO SAN, to enable powerful collaborative workflows. BSkyB launched Sky 3D, Europe’s first 3D TV channel, using the latest technology which included Mistika to create an incredible 3D experience, providing sports programmes, movies and entertainment into people’s homes across the country. History was made in January last year, with the world’s first live 3D sports broadcast, in which Mistika played a major role in the delivery. BSkyB continues to lead the way in TV entertainment with Sky 3D which is Europe’s first 3D channel.
