TVlogic announces 3D LUT support for XVM-245W

XVM gains Import/Export support of popular colour-grading LUT formats

Las Vegas, NV • April 12, 2010:

TVLogic, a designer and manufacturer of broadcast & professional high definition monitors and displays, announces support for import and export of popular color grading 3D LUT (Look-up table) formats for highly accurate color matching between XVM-245W monitors.

Using the TVLogic Color Calibration Utility, users of the company’s 10-bit Grade 1 XVM-245W 24″ ColorCritical Monitor can now apply custom 3D LUTs created in applications such as Assimilate Scratch, Autodesk Lustre, DaVinci Resolve, Grass Valley LUTher, and Quantel Pablo.

The new import/export feature allows DPs and DITs to save on-set grades and then accurately re-create the colorspace later for digital dailies and on-line editorial. The feature is also useful for maintaining accurate calibration of a specific LUT across multiple monitors in the field or in the edit bay.

The XVM-245W is TVLogic’s top-of-the line color-critical LCD monitor in an extensive product line that encompasses 23 HD displays, offering the industry’s most advanced features and video processing.
