Drastic Technologies Digital Disk Recorders – Uncompressed, compressed, SD, HD, 2k, 4k

Drastic’s Digital Disk Recorders provide the widest possible range of input, output and file format options. Drastic DDRs support SD, HD, 2K and 4k digital video input and outputs, as well as SD, HD and 2K analog inputs and outputs. Up/Down converters, multiple time code types and up to 16 channels of audio are supported.

Control of the DDR includes local GUI, serial control using Sony/Odetics/VDCP protocols, remote network control and HTML/Ajax control from any standard web browser.

Blackmagic Video Signal Converters

Blackmagic Design Mini Converters include auto SD/HD switching, redundant input, AES/EBU and analog audio on standard 1/4 inch jack connections, combined with advanced 3 Gb/s SDI technology. There are 14 models to choose from covering SDI, analogue, HDMI, audio, optical fiber, up, down, cross conversion, sync generation, and a range with a Heavy Duty shell especially for field work.

DVC Boxxster & Boxxster 2k

The DVC Boxxster is a compact, low power, low noise uncompressed digital disk recorder for the desktop which is capable of recording and playing back SD, HD and 2k video sequences.

With frame accurate 4:2:2 VTR control as Master or Slave, and with Show controls and Network controls this system provides a versatile system for presentations, VTR replacement, and digital bridge work between animators and edit suites.
