Supermicro Twin Systems – High Density Computing for Rendering

Supermicro 1U Twin RenderSupermicro rackmount Twin solutions provide a reliable, efficient and cost effective, high density computing solution. With three models available they provide the perfect building blocks for a compact renderfarm or a server cloud/cluster environment.

RenderBox – Compact but powerful system built for Rendering

RenderBox - Built to crunch numbersThe RenderBox is a compact PC built solely to render images for 3D applications. The RenderBox was born out of the need for high computational power in a small form factor, low noise system. Take a fast CPU and plenty of RAM, add some watercooling and let it go.

2U Twin – High Density Computing System

Supermicro 2U Twin RenderThe Twin2 provides four computers in one 2U system making it ideally suited for Servers and Rendering. Each node supports Dual Xeon CPU’s, up to 48GB of RAM and 3 SATA hard drives. With remote management via IPMI these systems provide a unique one box renderfarm solution.

1U Twin – High Density Computing System

Supermicro 1U Twin RenderThe 1U Twin provides two computers in one 1U system making it ideally suited for Servers and Rendering. Each node supports Dual Xeon CPU’s, up to 48GB of RAM and 2 x 3.5″ or 4 x 2.5″ SATA hard drives. With remote management via IPMI these systems provide a unique one box renderfarm solution.

Butterfly Network Render Software

ButterflyNetRenderâ„¢ (BNR) is a popular network rendering controller for Lightwave, Maya, Messiah Studio, Modo, 3DSmax, XSI, Digital Fusion, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Nuke, and more… The Studio and Professional versions includes node Grouping, Priority and Split Frames (you can speed up rendering time for a single frame by distributing it across more than 1 rendernode) – ie: slice the frame into parts and ButterflyNetRender will automatically reassemble after the parts are complete.
