The ClipRecorder 2k DDR's are DVC's top of the range digital disk recorders with Single and Dual channels up to 2k.

DVC's ClipRecorder 2k now fully supports play back of all Sony hardware generated MXF files in addition to the uncompressed files. Sony MXF files can be played directly without any transcoding, importing or similar.

With this new features ClipRecorder 2k is a perfect digital disk recorder and player for HD Broadcast applications making it one of the most powerful DDR's available on the market. Housing two completely independent dual-link channels and up to 4.8TB SAS storage in a compact 3U Rack Unit. Each channel is fully capable of replacing a digital VTR, disk recorder or HD server.

In Film Space Mode it features recording and playback of two HD DPX file streams at the same time in the same timeline.

In Clip Mode ClipRecorder 2k X2 operates like a two channel uncompressed player for 2 k / HD formats.
