TD Control Surfaces
Fully supported by the Mistika Post Production System

The CP200 Generic Modular Control Panel range by Tangent Devices provides intuitive controls for many common applications. The modular range is designed to accommodate the requirements of users who need only certain features.

The CP200 panels use proven high quality components. Some of which have their origins in the F1 motor racing and aerospace industries. The fascias are machined from a solid 12mm thick aluminium block giving the panel a strong, weighty feel that reinforces the overall feeling of quality. The displays are Vacuum Florescent Displays (VFD) which give a good contrast ratio and wide viewing angle, making them far superior to equivalent LCD or LED displays. All the control knobs are optical digital rotary encoders, giving a smooth high resolution response and a long life.
Each panel is connected via standard Ethernet cable. The host system can drive the displays to indicate whatever it requires e.g. to label buttons or knobs. The simple protocol places no restrictions on what use the host system makes of the panel.

Pixelution supply these primarily as an interface option for use with the Mistika Post Production system. The control surfaces allow for increased interaction between the operator and the software compared to using only a mouse and keyboard.

CP200-BK Trackball/Knob panel When used with a Mistika system this forms the central part of the colour correction control system. The trackballs and the knobs provide a basic telecine style colour correction interface.

CP200-TS Transport/Selection panel

With this module you can control the timeline navigation and all of the CC & FX PRESETS libraries within Mistika. This makes the whole colour correction process much faster as you can quickly generate and apply PRESETS on clips and also play out and JOG the timeline.

CP200-K Knob panel

This module allows you to control multiple parameters within Mistika. The additional buttons provide mode changes. Mistikas six vector colour corrector for example uses the top 3 buttons to change from LUMA, SATURATION, and HU-SHIFT modes.
