BARAKA’S ELIOT MILBOURN GIVES NEW GIRLS ALOUD PROMO FUNKY EFFECTS – SOMETHING KINDA OOOOH!

Baraka Post Production post produced the latest Girls Aloud music video with song title: “Something Kinda Ooooh” produced by Jon Adams and directed once again by well known DoP and Director, Stuart Gosling who has previously directed one of Girls Aloud’s music videos. The video portrays the five stunning Girls Aloud artists Cheryl Kimberley Nadine Nicola and Sarah singing and dancing glamorously to their latest tune. Scenes of them singing the song from a sporty car also feature in the piece.

Eliot Milbourn, compositor and grader at Baraka used various effects to give the promo a funky style. He graded the shots and adding blurred light trails that shone on top of the sexy dancing girls. Close ups of the girls were given a stylised speeded-up backdrop by the clever use of green screens. The light trails were made to envelope the car, which was stationary and in a studio to give a sense of movement and speed as well as adding subtle "digital camera shake" to many shots. Car wheels were made to spin around, joins in the two back projection video screens behind the girls were patched up seamlessly and the set equipment in the background was disguised or removed. He also ensured that the girls faces were not obscured by their hair blowing into their faces while they danced in front of a fan, and he used the most flattering images of the Girls Aloud team to piece it all together into a stylised and fun video.

The song will be airing imminently on all music channels.
